WORK WITH MINGXIANG WANG
I operate in the threshold- between the physical and the digital, the private confession and the public spectacle.

All About Ming
Holding a distinct MA in Performance Design and Practice from Central Saint Martins, I translate the anthropology of 'liminality' into immersive environments for brands, stages, and screens.
My background is rooted in the avant-garde—repurposing industrial relics and challenging social norms through radical set design and performance. Now, I bring that same rigorous, narrative-led approach to commercial collaborations, offering creative direction that doesn't just display a product, but builds a world around it.
My Services: A Narrative Approach

Just as my personal work explores the "Liminal Space", I design commercial environments that suspend reality. I treat the stage, the runway, or the boutique window not as a static backdrop, but as a living "threshold." Whether it is a pop-up installation for a fashion house or a scenographic landscape for a music video, I use material texture and architectural tension to create atmospheres that linger in the viewer's memory.
Spatial Alchemy (Scenography & Set Design)

Drawing from the "Porcelain Sanctuary" concept—where everyday objects become vessels of profound meaning—I help brands find the "soul" in their campaigns. I offer creative direction that fuses dramaturgy with visual strategy, ensuring that every editorial shoot or brand film tells a cohesive, emotionally resonant story. I bridge the gap between experimental art theory and high-impact commercial aesthetics.
Visual Dramaturgy (Creative Direction)

Navigating the intersection of Super 8 film, glitch art, and interactive media, I construct "digital heterotopias"—virtual spaces that mirror and distort reality. I offer bespoke video installations and projection mapping for events, creating "poetic, melancholic whispers" of light that transform physical venues into digital experiences
