'I'm Going Away Now' (2023) presented in F.U.G.A Festival, an ensemble performance directed by Ken Nakajima. MLADI, the Arts Organisation in Slovenia reviewed, 'The visual dance-theatre spectacle challenged the audience to think about their own identity and also the identities imposed on us by society and our attempt to (not) accept them. The performance, without using many words, or perhaps precisely because of this, left space for the viewer to be carried away by the improvisational dance elements into their inner world and their own experience of identity.'

Chapter One: The Facade You Wore (2025) is the inaugural editorial chapter from Howard Atelier, the London-based millinery house founded by Matthew Howard, published online by KALTBLUT Magazine on 22 September 2025. The shoot frames each hat as a sculptural mask and reads concealment as a wearable position rather than a trope, drawing on Howard's MA training in Performance Design at Central Saint Martins and his selection for the CHANEL & The King's Foundation Métiers d'Art Millinery Fellowship in partnership with Le19M (2025/26).

Wang appeared in the editorial as Talent, alongside Luke Cartwright. The role was performance-based modelling for still photography, working with Howard's millinery pieces and styling drawn from Studio Panama, Yuhan Ao, and Wink Atelier. Wang accepted the project on the basis of an existing working relationship with Howard — a fellow CSM Performance Design graduate — and because the conceptual framing of the chapter, hats as masks and the photographed body as observed subject, sat close enough to Wang's own concerns with public persona, concealment, and the question of who is watching whom that the modelling work could be undertaken without reframing it as something other than what it is. The work is included here as honest record of that collaboration, not as artist-authored output.

Production credits: Presented by Howard Atelier. Creative direction by Matthew Howard. Photography by Omer Ga'ash. Makeup by Astrid Wu. Behind-the-scenes by Georgie Earnshaw. Assistance by Georgie Earnshaw and Yağmur Taçar. Talent: Mingxiang Wang and Luke Cartwright. Garments: Studio Panama, Yuhan Ao, Wink Atelier. Published by KALTBLUT Magazine, Fashion category, 22 September 2025.
